Salt Creek's Cedar

A CHAMPION produces a CHAMPION! And it looks like Cedar has done it again! And again!

How many 5 year old males do you know with a CV of 16.6? WOW!!! And he passes this (along with all his other traits) on to his offspring! Remarkable stats - SD and % under 30 is still under 5 at this age?? Cedar rocks!

Multiple congratulations are passed along to the many farms who have chosen Cedar to sire their offspring. Again and again, he has proven worthy. Prairieview Alpacas, Inc. and Amazing Grace Alpacas will be showing off their winners (some already reserve champions!) Watch for this latest black male and medium fawn in the show ring in the Spring of 2011.

It is true - the true studs get better as they get older - when they are truly remarkable studs! Cedar captured a Color Championship as a three and a half year old stud in a fleece show - beating out all the juvies and yearlings! A true testament to his fleece qualities and characteristics.

The years have been kind to Cedar - a Color Championship and crias have been blue ribbon winners and have captured purple banners as well!

A CHAMPION producing CHAMPIONS!!!

Cedar has passed on his incredible fiber to his offspring, as well as his markings, such as the black rings around his eyes. His big, strong, sturdy frame is also passed on to his offspring - making this a highly desirable trait for both males and females in future breeding programs.

For breeders desiring to enhance and upgrade their herds and breeding programs, consider the traits and lineage of Cedar. His grandsire (Matador) and sire (T Peruvian Trophy) boast their own bragging rights, with well-known traits such as fiber, conformation, and offspring who produce nothing but the best. Cedar is firmly implanted in the same category. As a stud, Cedar is well proven.

He has proven that he can pass his ancestry on and produces incredible offspring.
