COMMANDER takes the blue
Even as a 15.5 month old, this COMMANDER has the presence to ask others in the ring to step aside so he can have the blue ribbon. Following in the foot steps of his older sister, he is gathering ribbons and working his way towards the top of the elite of "must breed to" list!

Snowmass P True North One
Struggling to find direction in your breeding program? Let us introduce you to an outstanding male who will not only brings the correct ancestry to the table, but he brings the package of TRAITS that the genetics pass along as well!
Introducing....Snowmass P True North One.
Yes...the outstanding son of Snowmass Artic Wind x Snowmass Quechua's Sarafina. Pay attention here ladies and gentlemen as this outstanding stud brings incredible density, lingering fineness, AND consistent bundling crimpy fiber, and brightness in his total package!
Never have I seen so many stars align on one pedigree....the dams alone (Snowmass Liberty Bell, 6Peruvian Casa Blanca, 4Peruvian Isabella) stop you in their tracks for they are the ones who gave the industry the Snowmass Futurity and National Champions that we all know - Accoyocussani, Artic Wind, Chateau, Infinity, Trilogy, and Sub-Zero to name a few. Add in those studs, plus a few such as Snowmaster, Augusto, 6Peruvian Monarch, and Legacy...and you understand the power behind this male.
Limited outside breedings available.

Commander's Best Hand fiber!
The results are in....the from the juvies to the mature adults, the ribbons tell the story.
Outlaw (MRG) and Commander (WH) each took first place ribbons in their color classes, with Commander also taking the coveted "Best Hand" special ribbon. AWESOME. Bonecrusher took a respectable third, while competing against Commander...very tough to do! We already know that Commander is going to be a force to reckon with. :-)
The adult ladies held their own with Sanibel taking the blue along with the "Best Brightness" special ribbon - considering her genetic background, we were not truly surprised. She is incredible! Watch for her offspring (Grand Admiral) to follow in her footsteps as he matures!
Takoda and Monte also took 1st places in the mature categories while gathering wonderful comments from the judge regarding maintaining excellent fineness for the age. Scores reflected this!
Because these fleeces go to mills and are turned into end products, we enjoy knowing we are "harvesting" quality fiber that will be turned into durable goods for all to enjoy!

Outlaw at SBC
Outlaw asked the grey alpacas to step aside in the combined grey class and took home the blue - not often seen with the rose greys! Special thanks to Nueva Dia Alpacas for helping out with pictures here! We were busy taking so many alpacas for pictures that it sure helped having friends step in and help us! This stunning rose grey male is just incredible!

Bonecrusher winning at Small Breeders Challenge
Bonecrusher does it again!
Taking the Best of Bred and Owned seems to be a pattern for this young beige male. We are pleased that multiple judges now are remarking on his correct phenotype and incredible fleece. We are also secretly
thrilled that several farms asked to look at him...we hope they keep an eye on him as he matures. So far we have seen nothing but continued improvement as he develops...
