U of I Production Animal Club Visits Salt Creek!

U of I Production Animal Club

What an awesome visit from some future veterinarians we had this past weekend! The University of Illinois Production Animal Club came by to learn about alpacas! This is great news for both the alpaca industry and the veterinarian sector! We all benefit from having education - and letting the students learn about the animals and get some hands-on experience is a perfect way to introduce and keep interest in these wonderful fiber animals! We can't wait for them to come back and learn more! Next time they get to do the chores and clip nails! :-) P.S. Double Chubby Chuck (Medusa) and The Spitting Queen (Delilah) will be waiting for you!
