**Update Spring 2025 - Resolute's offspring did extremely well at the shows - they held their own in very competitive brown and fawn female classes and garnered comments from judges who noted their flawless conformation, extreme coverage, density, fineness, uniformity, brightness, and consistent architecture (skin to tip) - generally, the only thing holding them back is they were youngest in the classes usually and didn't have the benefits of shearing as the older entries did. **Update July 2024: It's a stunning dark fawn/light brown (not sure of color yet) for Monday and Resolute! At over 19#, this is a hearty little girl and looks stamped in the image of her champion sire. Yay!
When Monday arrived on our farm as a young yearling, we could tell that she would fit right in – strong boned, correct in frame, true-to-type Huacaya head style, rich consistent color in her fiber (which was also soft, fine, uniform, AND had architecture – outstanding for a black!). Yep ... |

Wednedsay, as this pretty little girl is know around the farm, is one of the sweetest alpacas. Keeping in the naming theme of her dam (Monday) and her older brother (Taco Tuesday), we had to get creative with her official name since the registry seemed to not like the name “Wednesday” for some odd reason.
Blessed with a fabulous frame and equally impressive fiber traits from her magnificent sire, LibertyAlpacas Manifest Resolute, Wednesday is one of the females that is destined to go straight to the foundation herd. While she holds her own in the large classes of fawn females, we know that she show scene isn’t where she will excel – it will be in producing next generation of offspring in just about any color. When almost 30% of the ancestry listed on her ARI are grey, breeding her to grey is a very certainly in her future.
