Salt Creek's Medusa
Great news! Salt Creek’s Medusa will be joining Lacey at Wyndy Pynes Farm! Medusa - an outstanding blend of Snowmass Noble Legend and Augusto genetics - is a full Peruvian stunning goddess who will be added to the foundation herd at Wyndy Pynes. From the beginning, Medusa and Lacey were "best friends" - who knew they would end up together at another farm? Ah...destiny!! Congratulations to Amy and Chris Rogers!

Lacey - January 2012
Congratulations to Amy and Chris Rogers of Wyndy Pynes Farm! They recently added Lacey to their foundation herd! Lacey brings with her the genetics of Augusto as well as Snowmass Perfection and Peruvian Lace (both Futurity champions!) and will be an outstanding addition to their already fabulous herd! Lacey is the sister to our 7x champion, Takoda and daughter of our multiple blue ribbon beauty, Pearl. Congrats again!

Cozy Alpaca Throws
The weather outside might be frightful, but thanks to our ad on the radio station (WWHP 98.3 on the FM dial) alpaca products are making their way under the Christmas trees and into the stockings off all those who have been both naughty and nice! What’s on YOUR list?

U of I Production Animal Club
What an awesome visit from some future veterinarians we had this past weekend! The University of Illinois Production Animal Club came by to learn about alpacas! This is great news for both the alpaca industry and the veterinarian sector! We all benefit from having education - and letting the students learn about the animals and get some hands-on experience is a perfect way to introduce and keep interest in these wonderful fiber animals! We can't wait for them to come back and learn more! Next time they get to do the chores and clip nails! :-)
P.S. Double Chubby Chuck (Medusa) and The Spitting Queen (Delilah) will be waiting for you!

Where did summer go? From romping in the pastures to cool, crisp days and falling leaves…it all means one thing…Fall Show Season is approaching! Getting show schedules, registrations filled out, supply trunks packed…oh, and of course, the “show string” halter trained! Always an adventure!
With the Indiana show no longer available, the first stop will be Grayslake, IL (October 22-23). The girls are busy telling each other secrets about who they will get to meet, what new friends they will make, which old friends they can’t wait to see – and even the long lost relatives that they often hear stories about that they can’t wait to compare themselves to! Come on out and see the girls – see why we are so excited about this year’s “Show Girls”!
